Signs for Sugar Hill's growing downtown

Sugar Hill is building a downtown on purpose, with the E Center, The Bowl and new restaurants along West Broad Street. We make the signs that help new businesses there get noticed.

Downtown and the SHINE District

The E Center, with the Eagle Theatre and The Bowl amphitheater, anchors the SHINE District, Sugar Hill's dining and entertainment area along West Broad Street. Sites in the Town Center Overlay or Central Business District get extra review, and new downtown buildings go through a Design Review Board. We design storefront signs and window graphics that fit that look.

The city itself invests in branded wayfinding, including signs along the Sugar Hill Greenway, so a well-made sign fits right in.

Families, neighborhoods and the golf course

Nearly half of Sugar Hill households have kids, and the city-run Sugar Hill Golf Club has been open since 1992. Neighborhood HOAs need entrance and street signs, schools and teams use banners, and businesses along Nelson Brogdon Boulevard need signs that read from the road.

Sign permits in Sugar Hill

The Planning and Development department reviews permits and decides within 30 days. Start with the city's sign permit application. Signs over 100 square feet or 15 feet tall need a Georgia professional engineer's stamp. Ground signs sit on a base at least as wide as the sign, faced with wood, fiber cement, brick or stone. Temporary sign permits last up to 30 days.
