Signs for Dacula, in town and out along 316

Dacula is a small town with a lot of growth around it, from the new shopping at Harbins Road to Rowen along State Route 316. We make signs for the downtown and the developments around it.

City limits or county? It matters.

A Dacula address doesn't always mean the City of Dacula. The city says areas outside its limits are governed by Gwinnett County. That includes Hamilton Mill north of I-85, which shares the ZIP code. So a sign permit may go through the city or through Gwinnett County Planning and Development, depending on the parcel. Check which one applies before you order a permanent sign.

Inside the city, the Downtown Overlay adopted in 2024 aims for a classic small-town look along 2nd Avenue, which suits painted and dimensional storefront signs.

Neighborhoods and new builds

Between Hamilton Mill's golf community and the newer subdivisions around it, Dacula has a lot of HOAs and a lot of homes for sale. We make entrance monuments and street signs for neighborhoods and yard, post and panel and builder signs for agents and builders.

Sign permits in Dacula

Inside city limits, permanent wall and ground signs need a permit from Dacula Planning and Development, reviewed within 30 days. Temporary signs and banners get a 30-day permit for $30. Banners can be up to 32 square feet and must sit 10 feet back from the pavement.
