Signs for historic Roswell and beyond
From Canton Street shopfronts to new projects near Holcomb Bridge Road, Roswell mixes 1830s mill-town history with fresh development. We make signs that work in both.

In the historic district, plan the sign first
Inside Roswell's Historic Overlay District, wall signs must be lit from the outside, and channel letters aren't allowed. Outside light fixtures also need Historic Preservation Commission approval. For a shop on Canton Street, that points to painted or carved panels, awnings and dimensional letters lit by separate fixtures.
Sidewalk signs need their own permit in the district, and they can't be lit.
Outside the historic core
Along Holcomb Bridge Road, Alpharetta Highway and the Roswell Town Center redevelopment, the options open up. Offices there get lobby, suite and directory signs, and the neighborhoods around them get entrance and street signs that match what's already standing.
Sign permits in Roswell
Sign permits go through Planning and Zoning at 38 Hill Street. You can start with the city's wall sign application. Signs of 50 square feet or more, and freestanding signs 8 feet or taller, need a photo simulation and plans stamped by a Georgia professional engineer.
